I like this other one by Dick on reality:
“Sometimes the appropriate response to reality is to go insane”.
I don’t recommend it, but he isn’t necessarily wrong. At least he followed his own advice for a time. And it didn’t stop him from becoming the 20th century’s greatest Sci-fi author.

I would like someone to define “reality” for me. Until then, I stick to this quote: “We do not see the world as it is; we see the world as we are.” I believe that we create our own reality, and the absence of religion or faith is not necessarily evidence of truth or reality.
But perhaps I am missing the point.
Sorry for my cranky attitude - LOL! These quotes just struck home today, since I am going through an existential crisis but have recently fell in love with certain aspects of my faith once more. I remain skeptic of anything one worldview that claims to have a monopoly on reality. I would like to define it for myself from now on.
