June 2004, when I discovered that I could blog photos via Hello! on Blogger, I started a baby blog to track my pregnancy. After Maya’s birth, this (naturally) morphed into a baby blog, now christened Maya’s Meanderings. As I continued to blog there, I found that there were many topics I wanted to cover that just didn’t seem appropriate for the Maya’s site…thus, the birth of my personal blog.
Maya’s site has been more than a little neglected since her second birthday (for which I *still* have never posted photos, oops). At this point, I’m likely to retire her personal site in favor of a public family site — you know, one where it’s boring-boring photos and newsy nonsense.
